Job Summary
Our agency is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse to provide in-home nursing care for children under the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP). The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatrics, strong clinical skills, and excellent communication abilities to support both patients and their families.
Our agency is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse to provide in-home nursing care for children under the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP). The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatrics, strong clinical skills, and excellent communication abilities to support both patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and family-centered nursing care for pediatric clients in the home.
- Monitor and document children’s health status, progress, and clinical notes accurately and on time.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments while ensuring compliance with individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate families on pediatric health, treatment plans, and home safety practices.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to pediatric emergencies.
- Supervise direct care staff when needed and support adherence to agency policies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and agency operations.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and agency regulations, including infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active status on the Georgia Nurse Registry.
- Valid RN license in the State of Georgia (Pediatric specialty preferred).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- 1–3 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, home care, or related settings.
- Strong organizational, communication, and family engagement skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and child-friendly approach to care.
- Ability to respond effectively in emergencies and provide calm reassurance to families.
- Proficiency with documentation and basic computer skills.
- Must pass a background check and meet health/safety requirements.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance required.
- Must submit TB-Test

Compensation: $70.00 per hour
